ROYALS ACADEMY
Brisbane Royals Basketball Academy is a dedicated player-development program focused on taking young athletes from local courts all the way to elite competition and international opportunities.
Why choose our Academy?
We work with kids and teens aged 10–19. Whether players are just starting to build fundamentals or already competing at a high level, the academy provides structured, progressive coaching that develops skills, basketball IQ, athleticism, confidence, and the habits needed for higher-level play.
Our Development Pathway
The Brisbane Royals pathway is designed to move athletes from grassroots training into competitive AAU basketball and ultimately toward overseas opportunities.
Key elements include:
-
Skill development and game-situation training
-
AAU team competition in major Australian tournaments
-
Athlete promotion, detailed profiles, video analysis, and direct communication with US college programs where required
-
Academic guidance and recruitment support
-
Elite-level USA tours, including the Adidas 3SSB circuit, where athletes compete against top American talent and train with high-level programs
The program has a strong track record of college offers and commitments, and prioritises accessible pathways for talented players, including those from underprivileged backgrounds.
